I was very happy to write a citytrip article about Tilburg, the closest city to the little village where I grew up in and the place where I went to high school for 6 years. This article was published in SPOOR, the quarterly magazine of Dutch railway company NS. The article is all about turning around the city's bad image and showing the readers that Tilburg is definitely worth a visit. Not only did I write the article, I also took some of the photographs (food, portraits and close-up items). Because I did the production in winter time my images were combined with sunny stock photos.
The city of Tilburg used to be the ugly duckling of the South of Holland. Thanks to young creatives and enthusiastic entrepreneurs the city centre is evolving rapidly and changing for the better.
